On December 6, 2020, the first Waterproof and repair materials Engineering Technology Seminar hosted by Waterproof and Repair Materials and Engineering Technology Branch of China Concrete and Cement Products Association was grandly held in Nanjing International Expo Center, Jiangsu province. More than 50 concrete and cement products enterprises, including our company, were invited to attend.

The meeting was hosted by Liu Li, director of concrete Science and Engineering Research Institute of China General Research Institute of Building Materials Co., LTD. At the meeting, Liu Li read the approval document, the expanded concrete branch of China Association of Concrete and Cement Products changed its name to waterproof and Repair Materials and Engineering Technology Branch. Zeng Qingdong, secretary general of China Concrete and Cement Products Association, and Zhao Shunzeng, president of China Building Materials Science research Institute Co., LTD., jointly inaugurated the branch.

In recent years, with the rapid development of national economy and social, natural resources such as land, fresh water is increasingly tense, the development and utilization of underground space has become increasingly widespread, tall and super-tall building basement, large commercial centre, underground rail traffic engineering, urban comprehensive utility tunnel etc like large underground engineering is increasing, but the seepage problem in underground engineering is still one of the engineering quality common fault, It has become one of the difficult problems in the sustainable and green development of construction engineering, and has a huge impact on society and economy. So far, it has not been found that the service life of any organic waterproof material can be equal to that of reinforced concrete, the main material of the structure, and the service life of the general organic waterproof material is only 20 to 30 years. Therefore, it is of great significance to develop self-waterproofing technology of concrete structure with the same life span for ensuring the waterproofing quality of underground engineering.
